LEWANDOWSKI SIGNS

A few months ago it was confirmed that Borussia Dortmund’s Robert Lewandowski agreed to sign a pre-contractual agreement with Bayern Munich as he will be joining the team of Pep Guardiola at the start of the upcoming season.

Bayern Munich started taking genuine interest in Lewandowski after the Polish forward scored 4 goals against Real Madrid during a Champions League semifinal and there were even rumors that the Spanish club was interested in signing him but ultimately it was Bayern Munich who acted faster and have secured his services.

The arrival of Lewandowski has sparked a series of rumors questioning the future of Mario Mandzukic as to whether or not he will continue playing an important role for Pep Guardiola and Bayern Munich and according to the Sporting Director of the club, Matthias Sammer they have no plans or intentions of selling him.

“No one needs to start knocking on our door about Mandzukic” he told the angleterre italie cote site.

“He is incredibly important to Bayern. I always affectionately say that he plays like an animal. It is simply amazing how much work he does for the team and how much running he does during a game.

“They always try to provoke him because he really hurts his opponents with his work-rate.”

Ever since Mandkuzic joined Bayern Munich on 2012, he has been a consistent performer for the German titans and that will not change even with the arrival of Robert Lewandowski.

It seems like Bayern Munich have set their sights on buying more players instead of selling as they already confirmed the signing of the 23 years old midfielder Sebastian Rode from Eintracht Frankfurt who will be making his way into the club on July.
