Bayern Munich are one of the top teams in Germany as the club has won the last six league titles to remain the undisputed team in the country. However, the core of the team are in their 30s which is set to see the club make unprecedented wade into the transfer market.

Legendary wingers Arjen Robben and Frank Ribery are expected to the club at the end of the season as the club looks to bring in new faces. Atletico Madrid Lucas Hernandez is the first player to be confirmed after the club broke their transfer record for the 23-year-old World Cup-winning defender.

Now reports from Italy reveals that the German club are eyeing another player from Atletico Madrid in Gelson Martins. The 25-year-old was signed this summer from Sporting Lisbon but failed to live up to expectations at the Wanda Metropolitano stadium.

He was shipped off to relegation-threatened Monaco where he has regained his form and helped the club steer away from the relegation places.  The 25-year-old has scored three times and assisted one goal in seven appearances for the club in the league.

It looks like He has caught the eye of Bayern Munich as they seek replacements for Robben and Ribery.

It is believed that Bayern Munich are ready to bid around € 35 million for the Portuguese International which is not a surprise as a result of his current form.

Atletico Madrid is understood to be interested in selling the player in the summer. It remains to be seen if the transfer would go through as Monaco and Arsenal are believed to be interested in the pacy winger.

The Bavarians had also tried to sign Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi in January but a move failed to materialize.
